Description
Apex Corps has always been at the center of controversy. They push the bounds of human ethics and standards with each new experiment. They currently strive to perfect humanity and pave the way to eternal glory at the edge of the universe.
Apex is ran by the Director, a mysterious figurehead with a tradition of staying out of sight. It seems to play off Apex's founding director, who was never seen outside of a tiny handful of right hands who took his orders and played them out to the letter. The tradition has stayed over the centuries, becoming quite a spectacle with many wishing to catch just a glimpse of the man in charge.
Despite so much secrecy in their leadership, the values held by the corporation are well known.

This idea founded Apex at its roots and fuels its deceptively powerful military into the battle. Alongside hunters and alpha hunters alike, Apex has invented and deployed thousands of V.I. and A.I. through the galaxy. They have created many programs to study life, genetics, and weaponry. They keep close ties with the Federation, and have been seen actively assisting others such as fleebeeron, eldiravan, and kotoli.
They are not shy about leaving tiny bases, coined Omega Bases, on potential planets and asteroids. Most of these omega bases never have the chance to flourish into outposts, leaving them empty like ghost towns and free to claim for any daring enough. Few outposts have managed to turn themselves into colonies, named Sanctums, that strive with work and pay. From many of these sanctums comes priceless resources that Apex uses to be a wide-reaching, self-sufficient corporation.
Apex provides a healthy competition within the Federation for tech and equipment, forcing smaller companies to work harder to meet the impossible standards of Apex. Most find themselves restricted to the unused niches of the market, such as household appliances, canning, and civilian brands.
With all of its bases and sanctums, Apex has colonized Anicarro, a terrestrial planet with its own flourishing ecosystem of primitive animals, and turned the planet into a jungle of encroaching cities, the largest of which named Aurielianum, serving as the planet's capital, and Apex Corps' headquarters.
History
For a corporation priding itself on the collection and availability of knowledge, it is missing a painfully large amount of its own history. They claim an operation they deemed Blackout 2067, was the cause. On that night a small force from the Order managed their way into their servers to steal information and in doing so destroyed as much as possible before being caught. Ever since, Apex took a particularly strong liking to privacy and protection, using a network of servers which would eventually spread through the galaxy, to hold all of their knowledge.
It is believed that Apex's inception was around 2020 where it grew from a family of German Hunters, went through many obstacles into the weapons trade to become Apex. Heavily supported by the Order of Hunters as its public figure in the world of non-hunters. Apex's growth into a city-owning corporation excelled due to the fear of global war. It offered mercenaries, vehicles, training, and advanced cybernetic prosthetics for those in need.
Apex served to profit exponentially during World War III, and the following wars after its end. From there, it is taught that during the Revolution of 2065, Apex lead the charge against the Order's sudden claim to power for a new world. This revolt caused not only another civil war among the Hunters, but the great separation of Apex from its parent organization. Apex aimed to keep up the Hunter tradition and use that to rebuild its army and workforce.
Apex worked closely with NASA and SpaceX, providing the funding and assistance to fuel the race for knowledge, exploration, and new homes. They were the military force out on every expedition to protect the teams of explorers and scientists from the unknown.
None expected to find life in their own system, not to mention intelligent life. The discovery of the debris of an eldiravan ship was a shock. The results of which being humanity's worst nightmare come to life. The eldiravan, on a rampage of taking planets for resources, had their eyes on planet Earth and the discovery of intelligent life would not stop them.
War is often the best fuel for expansion and advancement. The best heads in their fields banded together globally to find a thousand solutions to a million problems. They fought their first war in space, their first war on extraterrestrial planets, against the first intelligent lifeform they found.
